Marketing Header Image Size

Are you building a new registration site and wondering what image size works well with the header image upload on the Marketing page?  It depends on a variety of factors like your customer's expectations, but we have found that 877 X 269 pixels is a safe size to use for both the standard size as well as the 100% sizing to cover the entire width of the page.  If you need to resize it to be larger or smaller, using another simple graphics editor application like Paint or PowerPoint to adjust is a good option.  As far as the image format you should consider, you have a few options.   PNG (portable network graphics) is one our team uses on a regular basis, but BMP (bitmap) and JPEG are also acceptable.
